Learn Jigsaw Linocut

There is a maximum of 4 students per workshop so you will receive plenty of 1:1 support.

In this friendly workshop, you'll learn how to transfer your designs onto a lino block, carve your block safely, cut your jigsaw pieces, and ink and print your creations. During the session, you'll work on two projects: a mini mark-making block to get you started, and a larger 15cm x 20cm block with which to create your jigsaw linocut piece.

You'll go home with your lino blocks and multiple copies of your artworks, to keep or gift to friends and family.

All printmaking equipment is provided. Refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits are also provided.

Please bring a packed lunch.

Printmaking can be an inky business, so do bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting messy!

This workshop is designed for adults, but students aged 16+ are welcome to join, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
