Linocut Fabric Printing

This workshop is tailored for creating stunning designs on fabric. We will use printing ink specifically designed for printing on fabric. In this workshop, you'll learn how to transfer your designs onto a lino block, carve it safely, and print directly onto provided fabric samples. There is a maximum of 4 students per workshop, so you will receive plenty of 1:1 support.

You'll start with a mini mark-making block to practice techniques, then move on to a larger 10cm x 15cm block to create a more detailed design which you will then print onto a fabric fat quarter. You'll leave with your two lino blocks and your printed fabric creations—perfect for personal use or a thoughtful gift!

All printmaking equipment and fabric supplies are included. Refreshments of tea, coffee, and biscuits are also provided.

Printmaking can be an inky business, so do bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting messy!

This workshop is designed for adults, but students aged 16+ are welcome to join, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
